Breath of the Wild Any% Speedrun in 41:59

For starters, yes this run used Amiibo because they save time and are intentionally programmed into the game for players to use. If you would like to view the fastest run that does not use Amiibo, you can find it here: http://www.speedrun.com/botw#Any.

Specifically, it used 3 Toon Link Amiibo to spawn fish which helped me make a +3 mighty elixir, and a Smash Bros Link Amiibo to spawn Epona off of the Great Plateau and ride her to Hyrule Castle. This is significantly faster than taming a wild horse.

This run's main mistakes were in Hyrule Castle. Falling down cost me around 11 seconds and I also lost some time to the Thunderblight fight. Calamity Ganon was good.

Console: Wii U (Wii U has faster loading times compared to Switch, saves ~30 seconds)

This run makes use of an input viewer via homebrew exploits. Even though the viewer is a pro controller, I am in fact using a gamepad to play. The pro controller graphic is simply used to save space since the buttons on the pro controller are the same on the gamepad. This does not affect the game in any way.
