This video presents airspeed theory first in simple terms (Part 1) and then the Airspeed Measurement Theory (Part 2). Explains what airspeeds such as EAS, TAS, CAS, IAS, and GS actually mean and how they are calculated. Note that the video is in two parts, with this being the first one.
The video uses excerpts from Dr. Gudmundsson's textbook, "General Aviation Aircraft Design - Applied Methods and Procedures," published by Elsevier in 2013.
